Wiggy's Story

Wiggy was only 13 days old when her mum was put to sleep. The rescue centre where she was had no night staff so could not cater for orphans. I brought her home on foster - or so I thought!

Within a couple of days we were inseparable. I had never before felt so strongly about a foster cat. Discovering that she had ch came as a terrible blow. I had never encountered it before, and the vets could tell me very little.

I agonised over the practicalities of keeping her, especially as my eldest cat was seriosly ill. Of course Wiggy stayed! Keeping her helped me cope with losing Syd a few weeks later.

Wiggy has a real zest for life, and an insatiable appetite for fun. I have never known such a happy cat, or a more determined one. She loves to be outside and goes for walks on her harness. People smile when they see her - she has such a cheeky, irresistible face. But I smile the most because she's mine!
