Guestbook Thor's StoryMy beautiful Thor came to me from my local animal control when she was just 9 weeks old. She is the only survivor of a litter of 4; thankfully she was spared the heart and URI problems of her siblings. She did have severe diarrhea and when it cleared and the irritation to her bottom subsided we were all surprised to find out the "boy" I adopted was in fact a girl! I kept the name Thor as she had already learned it and I hoped it would give her strength. She is now 4 months old, and has accomplished so much. I have never been owned by a CH kitty before - Thor has taught me so much about courage, perseverance and what can be overcome by determination. My scruffy, poopy, kitten who could barely take a step without falling has figured out how to stand by herself to eat, how to use the litterbox with minimal mess, and how to conquer the kitchen linoleum floor (a.ka.a the ice-rink) by walking with a wide-legged skating motion. I call her my "energizer bunny". She keeps going and going and going. Thor climbs the sofa like she was conquering Mount Everest; and most of the time she reaches the summit without fail. While some may see my Thor as a stumbling, clumsy kitten, her "un"-balancing act to me is as graceful as any floor routine done by Nadia comaneici. She is my perfect ten - beloved by myself and her feline and canine siblings. She brings me such joy. I am blessed to have her
