Sweet Girl's Story

Sweet Girl is about 3-4 years old and I adopted her threw the disabled pet site back in Sept 11. I made the arrangements to pick her up at an adoption fair in New Jersey at a store called Petsmart. She doesn't have CH but she was listed as having head trauma, which gives her the same symptoms as the CH kitties. I fell in love with her at first site and she was really sad to see, She was very thin and had a rough coat and looked sad in the eyes. She slept on the way home and has been in a room that she can call her own. She comes out when she feels the need to be social. I observed her for 2 weeks and noticed she drank and urinated a lot for one little cat. She was examined by my vet and blood work was taken. She has a high white blood count and kidney infection which could lead to kidney failure. But to date she's on  Hill's prescription K/D moist and dry and loves to eat it. Her coat has improved and her overall condition has gotten better. She loves to sit on your lap and snuggle with you and will sit there for hours. To date how she acquired this head trauma is not known, she was found this way, either hit by a car or by someone being abusive to her.Nevertheless she is loved and considered to be the queen and is treated as such. She has a dazed kind of a walk, and will tip over at times but other than that she is very  functional. She too is considered a very special kitty in my life and will be loved for life. She is not the greatest looking cat to some ,but she does have inner beauty and to me she is beautiful.
