Lydia's Story
Hi there,
Lydia came into my life by me visiting a local animal shelter here in my area. I had recently lost my cat ( Beauty) of 14 years and was looking for another kitty. I had went before to another shelter from far away(3hrs) but had no luck there. There were only two kitties available at the local shelter and one of them was my Lydia. I had asked what was wrong with her at the shelter and they thought she had a reaction to the wormer they gave her.
Well I was captured by this kitty, she was so friendly. She had all she could do to wobble over and see me. I just had to take her.
Now with having 4 cats already at home, I decided to take her little brother as well, so she would have someone she knew with her. So I came home with the two of them. I did take the two of them to the vet the same day I took them from the shelter. That is how I found out she cerabellar hypoplasia. The vet was kind enough to explain everything to me and the special needs that she would have.
She is the most adorable kitty. Everyone who has met her takes right to her because she has such a loving personality. I honestly think this cat was meant to be mine, an angel from above.
