He was a gift for my 8-year-old daughter who lives with her mother. They said he was a healthy kitty, I didn't pay much attention, just picked him up and took him to her. Then I got a phone call from my ex telling me to come pick up the cat that there is something wrong with him. So I go and get him, first thought was to take him to the shelter, only because I was never the cat type of guy. Then he started looking me in the eyes, then I tried figuring what was wrong with him. He was bobbing his head falling on the floor when he walked...and could not eat without help. I knew if I gave him up he would be put to sleep so I started to work with him, took him to the vet to get his first shots. He was diagnosed with CH, I knew nothing about it, but figured I would somehow learn to understand him, and from there I fell in love. But then other symptoms accrued and he stopped walking altogether, his hind legs wont even touch the ground now the just curl up underneath him, I took him to another vet they said he had water on the brain. I know that is not true, so I looked elsewhere. Luxated patellas the next one said, and he showed me how his knees popped in and out. So now I am his legs, I take him to the bathroom, pick him up for feeding and carry him almost every where I go. My dogs even learned to be careful of the baby brother. Somehow now I find myself being a cat person, I still love my dogs, but my little man found a place in my heart and bed, real quick… Pictures of Mr. Meatball
